Using the assistant in Zypher Agent does not cost the user anything, because the operator of the app pays the model provider.

The assistant is powered by a large language model that is billed by usage. In Zypher Agent that bill is paid by the operator, not by the user and not from the user's wallet. A free service needs boundaries, otherwise the cost has no ceiling, and these are the ones we use.

Limits per wallet and overall

Each wallet can send 20 messages per day. A global cap on messages per minute protects the service from sudden bursts, whether from a busy moment or from automated abuse. These limits apply regardless of what is asked.

A monthly budget

The operator also sets a monthly budget for model usage. If it is reached, the assistant is paused until the budget is available again, instead of continuing to spend. The rest of the app, including viewing markets and using your wallet, does not depend on the assistant.

Metering and caching

Usage is metered, so the operator can see what the assistant costs and what drives it. Prompt caching is used so that the repeated instructions sent with every request are not paid for in full each time, which lowers the cost of each message.

What this does and does not mean

Free here describes the current testnet app. It is a description of who pays today, not a promise about the future. The limits exist so that the assistant stays available for everyone rather than for whoever sends the most messages.

About Zypher Agent

Zypher Agent is an agent-first testnet app for Elysium and Hyperliquid. The assistant reads market data and proposes transactions. You approve each one in your own wallet, or enable the optional Agent Wallet so the agent can execute within limits you set.

This article describes how the Zypher Agent testnet app is operated at the date of publication and may change. It is not financial advice. Testnet tokens have no real value.
