Why we build on testnet first
Testnet is where an agent should make its first mistakes
By Zypher Agent team | 30 October 2026

Zypher Agent runs on the Elysium and Hyperliquid testnets only. Mainnet is not enabled. This is a deliberate choice, and this note explains the reasoning and the limits of what we have verified so far.
An assistant that can propose trades will sometimes propose bad ones. The question is where you want to find that out. On a testnet, the answer costs nothing, because the tokens have no real value.
What testnet lets us test
Wallet approval, policy checks, proposal expiry and the kill switch all behave the same way whether the funds are real or not. Running them against live testnet networks exposes rate limits, failed transactions and odd token behaviour long before any of it can hurt anyone.
What we have verified
The token contracts were tested on a local EVM, and read-only checks were run against the real Elysium RPC. The assistant reads and proposes through a real language model with tool calling, and a set of evaluation questions is run against it. Execution that moves value stays behind your wallet approval or, if you enable the optional Agent Wallet, behind the limits you set.
What we have not verified
The launch factory has not been deployed to the Elysium testnet. There has been no independent security audit. The assistant has not yet been tested against a real model provider at scale. We would rather say so plainly than imply otherwise.
Before any mainnet
Over MCP, mainnet execution needs a policy flag and an explicit environment acknowledgement, and dry-run is the default. Mainnet in the app is not enabled at all. Moving there would be a separate decision, taken after the gaps above are closed.
About Zypher Agent
Zypher Agent is an agent-first app and MCP server for the Elysium and Hyperliquid testnets. An assistant reads markets and proposes actions; you approve each one in your own wallet, or enable the optional Agent Wallet so it can execute within your limits. Mainnet is not enabled.
